About Noah Fried

blue-steel-prof-pic-3Noah Fried founded Blue Steel Media in 2017 with a mission to amplify the voices of people, businesses, and institutions serving the arts and the cultural good. He has spent his career working as a promotional force across several business niches, spanning  entertainment, education-technology, literary nonprofits and mental health advocacy.

From 2015-2019, he served the Broadway community, managing digital ad campaigns for Disney’s The Lion King, Frozen, and Aladdin, as well as The Phantom Of The Opera, and Avenue Q.  During this period, while working at the boutique theater marketing agency, The Pekoe Group, he pitched, developed and executed successful multichannel digital marketing plans for the historic Barrington Stage Company and Paul Taylor Dance Company. After helping to convince both institutions to expand beyond traditional media and try digital marketing channels for the first time, they each enjoyed increased brand awareness and ticket sales.

Noah’s true start in digital marketing began in 2008, however, when he became an intern at MuggleNet.com, the #1 online hub for the worldwide Harry Potter fandom. Quickly rising to Head of Editorial, he inspired thousands of the site’s readers to submit content for the chance of being featured on the front page and social media pages, which reached tens of thousands every day. As a result, Noah gained insight into online user behavior and what it takes for certain content to stand out at a time when social media marketing was still in its infancy.  He later co-founded a new Potter podcast, Alohomora!, which  featured special guest stars from the films, Warwick Davis and Chris Rankin. The show has received millions of listens to date.

Noah is a graduate of Muhlenberg College, Class ’13 with a BA in English Literature, Cum Laude. While a student, he founded the school’s Muggle Quidditch team with friends and started the Muhlenberg Writers Club.
